Who can be a Lifestyle Money Coach?

Our Lifestyle Money Coaches have a very diverse background and come from either the financial services world or a multitude of industries. Ultimately after our extensive training it really doesn't matter where you come from before you are a Lifestyle Money Coach however we do require a certain knowledge and skill level with the money world plus the passion to help others gain better control of their day to day money issues.

It all starts with great training

Initially you be required to attend an intensive Lifestyle Money Coach Training Program. Here you will be given the essential coaching and communication skills, structure and key processes to be able to start practicing as a Lifestyle Money Coach immediately.

During your training you will undergo extensive theoretical and practically based workshops including "real-life" one-to-one coaching simulations with your Lifestyle Money Master Coach and your fellow Lifestyle Money Coaches. The key learning outcomes from this element of your training is to provide you with all of the necessary tools, techniques and resources to be able to provide a high quality Lifestyle Money Coaching experience.

Your training doesn't end there. Once have completed your initial training you will be required to participate in the regular monthly etutor training program. This program has been specifically designed to provide you with relevant easy to absorb skills based trainging to help you:

• enhance your general knowledge of the money world,
• improve your general coaching skills
• implementing better business building techniques.

Our coaching program has been designed by experienced trainers, money experts and coaches and is regularly reviewed to maintain the highest standard of cutting-edge content. It is delivered electonically so that you can maximise your time scheduling.

Is there any other training required?

Yes. As a Lifestyle Money Coach you will also be required to commence (if you already haven't done so) a Diploma of Financial Services. 

How much does the Initial Intensive Training Program cost?

There is no charge for the 3 day intensive program as this is included in your initial Licence Fee. However if you have to travel to the training venue you will have to pay for your own travel and accomodation expenses.

Do I have to pay anything after the training?

There is a $150 per month fee for the compulsory etutor training program that every coach must undertake. We view training as an absolute must as all Lifestyle Money Coaches must has as much knowledge as they possibly can to deliver our high quality program. Please note the cost of any other training that you decide to under take or that we recommend will be at your own expense

How long is the Initial Intensive Training Program?

The Initial Intensive Training Program is held over three days. Your typical day will begin at 9am and conclude at 6pm so plenty of energy will be required.

How many people do you accept onto the program?

We accept a maximum of 8 people onto each training program so that we comply with the  International Coach Federation's trainer-to-student ratio of 1:8.

Is there a Certification Program?

Yes, there are four levels of Certification of a Lifestyle Money Coach.

Level 1 - pass the entrance criteria as established by Lifestyle Money Coach.
Level 2 - perform over 150 hours of coaching experience with all types of clients
Level 3 - perform over 300 hours of coaching experience in coaching
Level 4 - perform in excess of 750 hours coaching experience and participating in mentoring other coaches   

I have a full-time job, how should I start as a Lifestyle Money Coach?

The majority of Lifestyle Money Coaches work part-time alongside other careers or part-time businesses they are in. Lifestyle Money Coaching is a very easy business to start and you can coach part-time with only a few clients. Begin by coaching alongside your current job or business. Put aside one or two evenings per week to start your Lifestyle Money Coaching business and take it from there.

Do I need to be a member of any industry body?

Yes you will need to join as a matter of course the International Coaching Federation (ICF) which is the industry body that regulates the standards of the coaching profession worldwide. Lifestyle Money Coach is a member and meets or beats all ICF training standards.

You will also need to be a member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) which is a professional body that aims to raise standards in the financial services industry through education, promotion and advocacy. There are annual membership fees for both of these organisations to which you will have to fund annually..

What sort of Agreement is there to become a Lifestyle Money Coach? 

To become a Lifestyle Money Coach you simply have to enter into a Licence Agreement. We are not a Franchise and therefore do not require a Franchise Agreement nor is any Franchise statutory requirement applicable.

So how much is the fee to become a Lifestyle Money Coach and are there any ongoing royalties payable? 

Your initial investment is $15,000 plus gst. Ongoing, you keep 85% of your earnings.
